The World Federation of Scientific Workers supports 15 March global youth climate strike

An international mobilization of schoolgirls, schoolboys and students for climate change has been emerging for several months. A world youth strike is organized on 15 March 2019. Objective: “to limit the scale of the disaster”.

In the face of global warming, a profound transformation of lifestyles, consumption and production is more urgent than ever. A mobilization on the scale of the whole of humanity is essential. The youth climate movement is global from the outset and opens up a powerful hope. 

The WFSW, committed to the climate and the Earth system, has launched an appeal to scientists, states and populations around the world.

It gives its full support to this movement and to the world strike of 15 March.
