In October 2023, Elies Molins, Co-President of the World Federation of Scientific Workers (WFSW), was warmly received by He Junke, Secretary General of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), during a notable visit to China. This meeting was an integral part of the preparations for the 96th WFSW Executive Council, which was held in Beijing and  Huzhou in August 2024.

The visit underscored the importance of enhancing cooperation between CAST and the WFSW. It highlighted their mutual  commitment to fostering international exchange and collaboration to effectively address global challenges.
