The fourth edition of the largest scientific and technological policy meeting in Latin America and the Caribbean
The Latin American and Caribbean Federation of Scientific Workers (FEDLATTCI) and the Federation of University Teachers of South America (FESIDUAS) will be present at the CILAC Forum, organised by UNESCO and other prominent international organisations.
The Latin American and Caribbean Open Science Forum is a regional space for debate and exchange. On an itinerant basis in different cities of the region, the Forum’s face-to-face meeting is held every two years for 3 days. The CILAC Forum is “the hub” of science in Latin America and the Caribbean, constituting a regional platform to debate how to strengthen and implement effective science, technology and innovation (STI) policies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the Agenda 2030.
CILAC represents a permanent movement for dialogue and cooperation between actors, the exchange of experiences, the definition of strategies and the monitoring of actions at the regional level in the field of science, technology and innovation.
